Yep, I finally made a account... After all this time of looking at all the amazing art on this site and getting inspired and throughly depressed about how good these people are - and stressing that I never seem to get time to create anything I deemed any good at all, I finally thought; "Stuff it, we all have to start somewhere!"

There will always be people that are more skilled than us. All we can do is accept the point that we are at, that this is what I can do now and I will only get better. We (artists in particular) are all our own worst critics, but as I am constantly reminded the worst thing we can do is compare ourselves to others - which is what we all do constantly. Any creative effort has value and merit regardless of how 'good' we judge it to be... even if we think it's rubbish, someone else will think it's awesome...

So time to put some of my work up and see what happens. It'll be all sorts of 'older' stuff till I get organized to finish something new. Please let me know what you think - feedback is more than welcome (as long as it's constructive) any hints and tips would be handy too. I'm still getting the hang of how to do things on the site so if I don't reply it's nothing personal, thanks to all those who have already said 'hi'. I look forward to meeting you all and making some new friends,... and some new art.
